Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu - transfer to hotel (no meals):
When flying into Kathmandu on a clear day, the views of snow-capped mountain peaks sprawl down below you and are almost breathtaking, beginning a whole link of memorable experiences that stay with you for a long time. The provided escort and driver from the Outfitter Nepal office will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. A representative will help you check into your designated hotel then you will be briefed about your daily program. This is your first overnight in the Valley of the Gods.
Day 02: Full day Sightseeing Tour (B):
After having breakfast at the hotel you will set off on a full day sightseeing tour. The tour includes visiting a world of heritage sites at Patan Durbar squire and Syambhunath Stupa (monkey temple), and the Patan Durbar Square which is situated at the centre of the city of Lalitpur in Nepal and is one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. One of its attractions is the ancient royal palace where the Malla Kings of Lalitpur resided. In the afternoon, you will visit the monkey temple - the largest and holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. Return to the hotel and enjoy your evening at leisure and overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Kathmandu - Pokhara (B):
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will drive along the scenic Trisuli and Marsyangdi River to reach Pokhara. Drive along the beautiful river, viewing Ganesh Himal and the Manaslu peak as well as Pokhara. Pokhara is a tourist's paradise full of nature as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, and temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with her lovely mountains. After about 6 hours of driving; you will arrive in Pokhara, the city of lakes, a beautiful town of serene lakes that gives so much meaning to your holidays. Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 04: Pokhara - Naudanda - Pokhara (B):
You will enjoy an early start this morning and drive to Sarangkot, a beautiful hill famous for its sunrise over the Himalaya. Enjoy a close-up look of the Annapurna, Fishtail and many others with the sunrise and have breakfast at the hotel in Sarangkot. Then hike to Naudada, about 3 hours on plat level path, and drive from Naudada to Pokhara, you will have free time to explore the Pokhara on your own and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Pokhara - Peace Stupa Pokhara (B):
After having breakfast at your hotel in Pokhara, you will take a boat ride across the Phewa lake and hike up to the World Peace Stupa, about an hour, which has fantastic views of the lake, Himalayas and the Pokhara valley. Then hike down to Davis falls and visit the ancient and longest cave in South Asia. Drive back to Pokhara hotel, leaving the afternoon free and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 06: Drive from Pokhara to Chitwan - 6 hours (B, L, D):
After an early morning breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to Chitwan National park - check into the jungle lodge and embark on a wildlife Tharu village tour in the evening, then have dinner at the lodge, and stay overnight at the lodge.
Day 07: Full day of go-wild jungle activities (B, L, D):
After breakfast amidst the sweet chirping of birds, you set out for a full day of jungle activities that include jungle walking, elephant back riding safari across streams and into the jungles. You also get to enjoy watching the elephants bathing and visit the elephant breeding centre, at eventide, while having supper. Finally you'll get to enjoy a scintillating Tharu cultural stick dance that’s exciting to watch in the evening, and stay overnight at the lodge.
Day 08: Drive from Chitwan to Kathmandu (B):
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken on an interesting bird watching tour in the morning, then drive to Kathmandu for about 6 hours, and check in to the hotel. Spend the evening at your leisure and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 09: Tour of Bhaktapur (B):
After having breakfast at your hotel in Kathmandu, set off on a day tour of Bhaktapur. The Bhaktapur Durbar Square is highly known for their immense and tragic historical features that include heritage monuments that still echo the vibrant histories of these once-upon-a-time ancient kingdoms that had separate kings who lived life to the hilt but suffered tragic defeats at the hands of the famous Gurkha king Prithvi Narayan Shah. Bullet holes can still be seen on the wall of these ancient palaces to this day. It was King Prithvi that finally unified a feudal Nepal that was constantly at war with one another and created a dynasty. After the tour of Bhaktapur, return to your hotel and spend the evening at your leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Transfer to international airport for your final flight departure (B):
After breakfast at the hotel you will be transferred to the international airport en route to your flight departure.
