Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrivals & transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu
Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport, an airport representative will welcome you and give you information about Kathmandu and directly drive to the Hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Kathmandu Guided Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, you will start the Kathmandu Sightseeing tour. Kathmandu Durbar Square, The Historical Square Monkey temple, The Combination of Hinduism & Buddhism Mythology Pashupatinath Temple, The oldest & biggest Shiva Temple in South Asia Boudhanath Stupa, The holy place of Tibetan Buddhism. Return back to Kathmandu for the trip briefing.
Day 3: Kathmandu - Lukla & Trek to Phakding (Four Hours)
Morning flight to Lukla (135km) and begin the trek through the Tamang and Sherpa village. The trail goes gradually to Phakding. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 4: Phakding - Namche Bazaar (Five Hours)
You are close to approaching the Himalayas. View the mountains and pine forests and head to Namche Bazar. On the way, you will encounter of Mount Everest, Amadablam, Thamserku and many more. Overnight at Guest House
Day 5: Rest Day in Namche
Optional hike to Thame/Khumjung Monastery/Everest View Hotel. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 6: Namche - Trek to Thyangboche (Five Hours)
Trek begins very easily then the trail goes down to Phunki Tenga on the riverside. This is where Buddhism was introduced into the Khumbu valley. You will then ascend about 800m to Thyangboche through the pine forest. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 7: Thyangboche - Trek to Dingboche (Five Hours)
Thyangboche is the best place to view Mount Everest, Amadablam, and Thamserku. Thyangboche monastery is another attraction of the tourist so GAT staff will take you there in the morning to participate in Puja and descend through the Rhododendron forest. Gaze upon a giant mountain range towards Chhukung valley. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 8: Dingboche - Lobuche (Five Hours)
The high altitude makes this a longer, harder trek. When you cross the small river in Dhukla the path goes steeply up to Lobuche. You will visit Chorten, Mane stone and enjoy a panoramic view eight thousand meters up a mountain. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 9: Lobuche - Gorak Shep (Three Hours) *Optional Hike to Everest Base Camp
You are at the base of the Himalayan range. Gorakshep is the initial base camp of Everest. Optional hike up to Everest base camp and back to the lodge. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 10: Gorakshep - Pheriche
Early morning start to your trip to Kalapathar for an amazing sunrise at the closest proximity of Lhotse and Mt. Everest and on the button, you will view the biggest Khumbu glacier. After breakfast trek to Pheriche for your comfort overnight.
Day 11: Pheriche - Namche (Six Hours)
Walk through the wide valley to get great views of Himalaya and take your time to visit the giant Sherpa village and monastery along the way to Namche Bazar. You might get to see the Trans Himalayan Market in Namche Bazar on Saturday. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 12: Namche Bazar - Lukla (Six Hours)
Trekking back over the same trails you will get to take in a whole range of different views and experiences. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 13: Lukla - Morning Flight Back to Kathmandu (Accommodation must be arranged by yourself)
Arrival and transfer to Hotel. The trip will conclude here. You are free for a day to explore Kathmandu. Evening - farewell dinner in Nepali typical restaurant.
Day 14: Kathmandu Hotel - Transfer to Airport (TIA)
After having breakfast you will be taken to The Kathmandu Airport in a private vehicle for your final departure.

Trek Accommodation:
Accommodation is always comfortable and clean with a good night's sleep as the main priority. You will be provided with the best available lodge/tea-house during the trek. Most of the nights, there will be a warm dining room with comfortable chairs. Normally, you will have electric throughout the trip, but there may be a few nights where there is no running hot shower and electricity. A bucket of hot water will be offered at an additional cost.
Kathmandu Accommodation:
Kathmandu Sunny Hotel is a clean and comfortable hotel in a quiet location beside Thamel. There is hot and cold running water for 24 hours. They also have TV, air-conditioning, a telephone in the room and a private balcony. In Kathmandu, the stay will be in a 2/3 star category hotel. However, if you would like to upgrade the hotel in Kathmandu, please let the merchant know and they will upgrade the hotel for an additional cost.
Please Note: There is an additional upgrade available for a two-night, three-day tour of Chitwan Jungle Safari after returning from the trek. It costs $350 USD per person and includes whitewater rafting, bungy jumping and Everest climb. Flights are available on extra cost payable directly to Global Adventure Trekking.
