Itinerary:
Day One: Fly to Hanoi
Fly to Hanoi. Upon arrival, a shuttle bus & guide will be holding a sign with your name and welcome you at Noi Bai International airport and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. The rest day is free to leisure or explore the city by yourself.

Day Two: Hanoi - Halong Bay Overnight Cruise (B/L/D)
The guide and the shuttle bus will pick you up at the lobby of the hotel at 8.00 and start your journey east to Halong Bay, through picturesque rice-farming villages of the Red River Delta, where you will see everyday Vietnamese village life. On arrival, board a beautiful traditional junk and spend a full day and night cruising the bay’s 3000 magnificent limestone islets. In the evening when the boat is anchored in the middle of the stunning lagoon, enjoy a wonderful seafood meal. Later in the evening, there is an opportunity for an evening swim from the side of the boat. Spend the night on the luxurious boat.

Day Three: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B/L)
Awake early and participate in Tai Chi on the top deck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise over the bay’s towering islands. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea, before setting out to explore nearby islands by rowboat. Return to the junk for breakfast then take advantage of the sundeck and admire the amazing rock formations of Halong. Have brunch on board the boat before returning to Halong pier to get back Hanoi
Day Four: Hanoi City Tour - Night Train to Hue (B/L)
Sightseeing today includes exploring Vietnam’s charming capital. With its wide tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and ancient oriental pagodas, start a Hanoi’s key sites: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and stilt house), the Presidential Palace, the nearby One Pillar Pagoda; the Temple of Literature; West Lake including the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda; and one of the city’s museums (a choice between the History Museum and the Ethnology Museum). End the day’s explorations with a cyclo tour through the Old Quarter or enjoy a traditional water puppet show. After the city tour, take dinner by yourself, then transfer to station for your overnight train to Hue. Overnight on a shared 4 berths cabin with A/C.

Day Five: Hue free & easy

Day Six: Hue - Transfer to Hoi An (B)
Take the scenic route to Hoi An from Hue over the Hai Van Pass. Upon arrival Hoi An, check in hotel. The rest day is free at leisure and overnight in Hoi An.

Day Seven: Hoi An - My Son (B)
Departs for My Son, My Son 70 km southwest of Da Nang, was the capital of the once the almighty Champa Kingdom. It boasts a complex of ancient ruins that date back 1,700 years. This is a complete example of ancient Champa ruins that Vietnam has maintained. Transfer back to Hoi An and free visiting a lovely old house, still occupied by the descendants of the merchants who built it over 200 years ago, before seeing the elaborate Japanese Bridge, a Chinese temple, the bustling market. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day Eight: Hoi An - Cycling to Tra Que (B/light L)
Cycling into the countryside to the small farming community of Tra Que Vegetable Village. Here you can enjoy the lush green countryside and see the farmers at work, later learn to make Vietnamese spring roll and free on foot massage by herbs. Enjoy a free afternoon back in Hoi An, it is time for you to explore art and handicraft galleries, try on clothes tailor-made, relax at the riverside restaurants or take the short journey to the nearby beach. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day Nine: Hoi An – fly to Ho Chi Minh (B)
Free at leisure until transfer to airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival Ho Chi Minh, you will be welcomed by the tour guide/driver and transfer to hotel for check-in. Free & easy in your own way.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi Tunnel (B/light meal)
After breakfast, a guide will pick you up at hotel and excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels. At its height, the tunnel system stretched over 250km, from Saigon to the Cambodian border, and was three levels deep. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centres and kitchens. Today, the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction, giving you a unique experience and a feel of what underground life during the U.S.-Vietnam War must have been like. Return Ho Chi Minh afternoon and free leisure in your own way.
Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City tour (B)
Breakfast at hotel, a guide will pick you up at the hotel at 8.00AM and start for a Ho Chi Minh City Tour. Ho Chi Minh City is the largest, busiest and most exciting city in Viet Nam. It is also filled with intrigue and culture. On this tour we will visit some of the most interesting sights that Ho Chi Minh City has to offer, such as The War Remnants Museum, The Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral was built in 1880 and the Old Post Office was built between 1886 – 1891. It is one of the best examples of classical French colonial architecture. Afternoon, shopping at Ben Thanh market or Sai Gon Square. The rest time is free at leisure in your own way. Day 12: Ho Chi Minh - Departure (B)
