Hi.
Can we take a 2 yr old on this and if so do they pay the same amount?
Also is the ship considered NZ "territory" or Aus/USA?
This question because of foreign passport holder travelling.
Thanks

Would this be suitable for children? (14 and 11). Are there activities for them to do? Thanks.

Good morning Bronwyn,
This cruise does not require a passport but you will need some form of Government issued photo ID like a driver's licence, 18+ card, SuperGold card etc. Children (under 18yrs) can travel with a full birth certificate if they do not have photo ID.
For foreign visitors there is no immigration procedures for this cruise but they will need passports to travel as their form of photo ID.
Hope that helps

Hi there
Being a food and wine cruise, are alcoholic drinks included in the price? When at sea where is the cruise ship?..does it travel anywhere, ie: great barrier island?

Hi Kris,
The Captain will determine your itinerary closer to your departure date based on the weather. In the past we've had cruises head up towards the Bay of Islands or towards Tauranga.
On shorter cruises you cannot purchase alcoholic drinks packages but P&O offer the following:
Drinks packages can be pre-purchased through Cruise Control and start from AUD7 per person, per day for the Soda Package which includes unlimited glasses of Pepsi, Pepsi Max, Sunkist Orange, Lemonade, Solo, tonic water, soda water and ginger ale.
The Refreshment Drinks Package includes everything in the Soda Package plus Tea & Coffee, Juice blends, Mocktails and 600ml bottled water for AUD25 per person, per day.

Hello Karen - sorry I missed your question regarding drinks and where the ship will go.
You cannot purchase alcoholic drinks packages for short cruises with P&O. But drinks onboard are reasonably priced at approx AUD7 for a beer and AUD10 for wine. You can buy bottles of wine with meals and if you don't finish the bottle with your party you can take it back to your cabin.
The itinerary is determined by the captain. I travelled last year and we headed out behind Great Barrier Island (you couldn't see land for 1.5 days) and it was very relaxing.

Hi Lana,
Sorry I don't fully understand your query.
If your family is 2 adults and 1 infant the price for an inside cabin will be $1080.
If your family is 2 adults, 1 infant and 1 child/adult the price for an inside cabin will be $1351.
Hope that makes sense

Thank you. Are you able to take any wine on board with you...but perhaps pay a corkage?

I want to know that does your triple share ocean view have a double bed and a single bed as we have 2 adults and a kid (3 years old), thanks.

Hi Sunny
Our triple share cabins have 2 lower and 1 upper berths. Like the image on the deal page for quadshare but minus 1 berth/bed.
Essentially 3 x single beds.
Thanks

Good morning,
You don't get to choose your own cabin as we sell 'guaranteed'cabins which means you will be guaranteed a cabin in the category of your choosing (inside or oceanview). We do not sell obstructed oceanview cabins as oceanview. So if you book an oceanview there will be nothing obstructing the window.
