Itinerary:
Day 1: Kathmandu arrival and transfer to the hotel
You will be picked up from Tribhuwan International Airport and take you to the hotel. Today, the included activities include refreshments, introduction to your guide, as well as an introduction to the Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Overnight at hotel inclusive breakfast.
Day 2: Drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu
After breakfast, you will leave hotel in the morning with a scenic view along the highway to Pokhara via Prithvi highway. It might take about 7 hours to reach Pokhara. You will visit almost all the beautiful places in Pokhara like Davis fall, Phewa Lake, etc. Overnight at hotel inclusive breakfast.
Day 3: Pokhara to Ghandruk (1990 m)
You will leave Pokhara early in the morning either by taxi or car to Nayapul. You'll start walking towards Ghandruk via Birathati. It might take 4-5 hours to reach Ghandruk through steep hill trail. From Ghandruk you can see the beautiful Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Himchuli & Annapurna south. A guest house at Ghandruk will be arranged for you.
Day 4: Trek to Chhomrung (2210 m)
To get to Chhomrung, you'll need to go over Kumrong danda with an ascending and descending trek to the beautiful Chhomrung showcasing the typical lifestyle and natural attraction.
Day 5: Trek to Bamboo (2350 m)
You'll descend via 2500 stone steps and cross the bridge above Chhomrong Khola. From here it is an uphill climb to Sinuwa. Next, you'll pass through a beautiful forest to Kuldihar followed by an easy downhill walk to Bamboo. Overnight in Bamboo.
Day 6: Trek to Deurali (3140 m)
You'll pass through a bamboo forest, which is damp and cold, then ascend steadily with a few steep sections. It is only after reaching Himalaya Hotel that the forest opens up and you are out in the sun again with astounding views of the glacial river below. It is a steep climb through a much drier forest before reaching Hinku Cave. From here you can see the trail drop closer to the river before climbing again to Deurali, the most scenic stretch of the day. The vegetation is sparser, allowing magical views of the valley, the river below, and the sheer rock-face cliffs above with bands of wispy waterfalls. Overnight in Deurali.
Day 7: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4130 m)
Climb gently through a river bed then over a steep trail over to the mountain side. The hike from Bagar to Machhapuchhre Base Camp is somewhat strenuous. From Machhapuchhre base camp, you'll get excellent views of the majestic Machhapuchhre along with Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli and Gangapurna which is certainly a rewarding experience. The vegetation disappears on your way to ABC and the path widens as you enter the Annapurna sanctuary. From here, you'll get sensational views of the near-vertical south face of Annapurna towering above you. The sanctuary boasts of a dynamic view without anything impeding the 360-degree panorama. From the base camp, you'll get to savour mesmerising views of the Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli and other peaks.
Day 8: Trek to Bamboo (2335 m)
From the Annapurna base camp, you'll retrace your steps to Bamboo. Today’s trek is downhill, so it shouldn’t be very difficult. Besides, you will always have the company of the extraordinary landscape to cheer you up. Overnight in Bamboo.
Day 9: Trek to Jhinu Danda (Hot water springs) (1780 m)
From Bamboo, it is an uphill trek to Kuldighar followed by a downhill walk to Chhomrong Khola. Then you'll climb the stone steps to Chhomrong. The trail then descends to Jhinu Danda, where you will be resting for the night. Today you will have an opportunity to enjoy the hot springs which is just a 15-20 minute downhill walk from Jhinu Danda to soothe your aching body. Overnight in Jhinu Danda
Day 10: Trek to Nayapul and then drive to Pokhara city
Today, you will be walking up to Nayapul and then take a bus ride to reach Pokhara. The trek to Nayapul can be quiet awesome as you can enjoy the view of beautiful land topography (landscapes) on the way. The lunch will be provided on the way. In about 4-5 hours, you'll reach Nayapul and take a rest then you will catch a private vehicle up to Pokhara. Nayapul to Pokhara is about 1-hour drive. Overnight at hotel inclusive bed and breakfast.
Day 11: Drive back to Kathmandu
As per schedule, you will return back to Kathmandu by tourist bus. You can either fly or ride. If you catch flight then you can have some awesome views of mountains. However, if you take a ride then you can enjoy the beauty of Marshyangdi and Trishuli River. After reaching Kathmandu, you can have some rest or have some walk around Thamel. In the evening time you will have a farewell dinner at the typical local restaurant with cultural dance performance. Overnight at hotel inclusive bed and breakfast.
Day 12: Departure from Nepal
The airport representative will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the airport in a private car. You will reach the airport in time for your departure.
